On the occasion of 'Mannheimer Patenttage', held October 6th and 7th, 2011, Deven Misra, Head of IP Analytics with Steinbeis TIB, will present a lecture on 'Sustainable IP-Management as element of success for companies'. Main topics are continuous research activities and systematic IP valuation as well as the according conclusions for practitioners.

The district court at Mannheim is one of the leading courts in Germany concerning IP litigation and infringement. Based on sheer numbers Mannheim will only trail Düsseldorf and lead Munich to gain second place within the ranking of Germany's IP litigation courts. It is expected that Mannheim will become one of the three national entrance courts of the future European patent law system.

'Mannheimer Patenttage' 2011 will focus on the nationwide and even increasingly international importance of Mannheim according to the IP litigation cases and on October 6th and 7th will bring together practitioners from in- and outside Germany for an intensive subject matter exchange. Outstanding experts will talk about the newest developments in the German and European patent law and will discuss the practical conclusions thereof with the participants.
